What can you expect your child to get from attending Pathfinder Kids?
One on One Tutoring
One thing that we offer here at Pathfinder Kids is one on one tutoring for your child. Do you have a child who is struggling in a key area? No worries! Our highly trained and educated staff along side volunteers from Portage Northern High school's National Honor Society will sit down with your child and deliver individual assistance in order to raise their skills in whatever area needed.
You may be asking yourself "what is peer mentoring?" and the answer to that would be; a peer that provides support to the student by giving encouragement, being a sounding board for the students ideas, exchange interest, and be a resource for the student if necessary.
At Pathfinder Kids, we offer academic support in the way of giving students tools and helping them to succeed. Whether it be new ways to interpret the material they're learning, needing new ways to study, helping them catch up with their peers, help meet educational standards as well as work with families by offering resources within the community that can be of help to the student and the family.
Each morning and afternoon that your student arrives here at Pathfinder Kids, you can expect to see a wide array of activities that they can choose from to get their brains stimulated and ready for school. These activities will range from physical activities, arts and crafts, board games, puzzles, Bible lessons, etc.
